== About Marist College ==
Marist College is a private liberal arts college on the east bank of the Hudson River in Poughkeepsie, New York. The site was established in 1905 by the Marist Brothers, and the college was chartered in 1929. Approximately 4,500 undergraduate students attend the Poughkeepsie campus. In the 2013 issue of U.S. News and World Report's "America's best colleges", Marist was ranked 8th in the category Regional Universities (North). For the tenth year in a row, The Princeton Review named Marist as one of the nations best schools in its publication "The Best 373 Colleges". ==2014==
This semester, Spring 2014, our recruitment is "Kappa and the City!" We're going to highlight all of the great resources that Kappa has to offer internationally. Of course, we're going to demonstrate to them the bonds of sisterhood and the strength of our sorority. Over the past year standards has created kore groups, passed around the hoots jar, supportive sister and celebrated sisters are announced each week, as well as weekly standards meetings to check in with the sisters. This semester we will be participating and supporting another on campus sorority at a zumbathon event. This year in particular, Zeta Chi is focused on increasing Greek unity, and creating a more interactive environment. So far this semester we've also hosted Kappa Kappaccino's in order to raise money for the Special Olympics and the Polar Plunge that we took apart in February.
