Changes

During the pandemic, we had to change and adapt in many ways. The biggest thing we had to face was how to keep our sisterhood alive and engaging, even when we were not allowed to do anything in person. Recruitment, bid day, initiation and all of our sisterhood events were held virtually/on Zoom. It was definitely something that we all had to adapt to, and wish we could have done in person, but we love our New Members and are so excited we still got to have events, even if they were done in a distanced setting. We have now started doing events following Kappa National guidelines and our city’s mandates, and get tested bi-weekly. Our chapter as a whole has created a payment plan system for everyone, to take a bit of stress of financials in these times, which has received great feedback. Our sisterhood has grown stronger through these times.
