Our incoming 2014-15 chapter council started spring term off by participating in a weekend filled with bonding and training at the Kappa Kabin. Kappa Kabin is a cabin that adviser, Stephanie Bailey owns in Peoria and allows us lends to useEta Chapter for Leadership Day. The first Kappa Kabin was in 2011. That following weekend, we held a continuous open bidding (COB aka informal recruitment) event themed “Spring into Kappa." We welcomed 3 additional sisters to our chapter. Alpha Deuteron Chapter of Monmouth College then invited us to attend their Love & Loyalty Tea event around the same time.

At the end of April, Knox College's annual Greek Week was held with the theme “Greek TV". Around Also around this time, Standards surprised the rest of the chapter with a secret sisterhood event at Lake Storey, where we grilled hamburgers, played games, and played in the lake. During the month of

In May, Eta Kappa hosted its annual formal at Cherry Street Bar and Rstaurant Restaurant and its annual Academic Excellence Banquet in the Common Room of Old Main.

Returning to Knox in September, Eta Kappa geared the term towards focused on building sisterhood and friendship. In During Homecoming at Knox College in October, Eta Kappa hosted their we held our annual Homecoming event, having an open house for graduated alumni alumnae to come revisit the house and chat with active membersold times. Following After Homecoming Weekend, Eta Kappa we hosted its fall a fundraiser, Save-A-Heart whose proceeds benefitted (a play on the former, Win-A-Date, Eta Kappa's annual date auction themed fundraiser). Proceeds benefited the American Heart Association. During the month of OctoberAlso during this time, Knox’s National Panhellenic Council hosted a its 2nd annual Wellness Week (although technically the week long was held a second time in which sororities on campus the year 2014). This time we participated in yoga and indulging on dessertswith our NPC sisters. At the end of Also in Octoberand also very Pahellenically, Eta Kappa we participated in Sigma Chi’s annual Derby Days, which and in a dessert pot-luck with Delta Delta Delta. The memorable activities of Derby Days included pumpkin carving and a talent show with all proceeds benefitting . Proceeds from Derby Days benefited to local non profit, Safe Harbor. Also, in October Eta Kappa collaborated with the Tri Delta Chapter of Knox College hosting a pot-lock dessert event playing games and bonding. The year 2014 was an exciting time for Eta Kappa to grow as a chapterFamily Crisis Center.

During the year of In 2014, the Knox College campus (for the first time in 20 years ) opened the doors of Alumni Hall to faculty and staff since its closing. In the Eta Kappa Chapter it consist of 34 members in 2014 Women's Volleyball, Women's Basketball, and is ingrained in the Knox communityMen's Basketball would go on to defeat rival, Monmouth College. It had been a while since we could claim victory!

FYI: Eta Kappa Chapter host hosts chapter meetings in the designated Kappa House located at 320 W. West Brooks St. each SundayStreet during late afternoons on Sundays. The Chapter house is owned by Knox College and in addition does not provide housing/lodging or classroom space. The Kappa House is open between the hours of from 8:00AM- 00 AM to 11:00PM 00 PM for the members of Eta Kappa Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma to come use as an open a space for doing homework, cookingsnacks or meals (baking treats for sisters!), or and meetings/events.

In terms of housing the housing members of Eta Kappa Chapter, members often exercise the Kappa Kappa Gamma house is owned by Knox College and is not a facility used for housing. Members have the opportunity to live option of living together in dormitory spaces across campus if they so choose; however, it is not connected and in apartments/houses off campus. These living quarters are in no way affiliated officially to the Eta Kappa chapter in any wayChapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
