In January 2014, we We began Winter Term winter term like every winter term by welcoming eight new members NMs into Eta Kappa through our sisterhood after a long and grueling yet rewarding formal recruitment. This year it was appropriately themed, “Winter Wonderland.” Rearranging recruitment to end Diverging from tradition, Bid Day/Night was on a Sunday instead of a Saturday due to the Polar Vortex, Eta Kappa . We revamped Bid Day/Night and the NM process by establishing a Bid Day Buddies buddy system to welcome our new membersNMs. During the month of In February2014, Eta Kappa hosted its annual Semisemi-Formal formal (at the local Cherry St. restaurant. Following Semi-Formal, Eta Kappa hosted Street) and their annual Reading is Key event surrounding the (theme, : “Reading is Wild"). During the month of March, Knox College's National Panhellenic Council (NPC aka Panhell) hosted its first annual wellness weekWellness Week, including which included participating in a clothing swap connecting with Knox College's other NPC sororities, Delta Delta Delta; Phi Beta Phi; and Alpha Sigma Alpha. Just before Spring Breakspring break, we initiated eight new membersour 8 NMs, some of whom were immediately elected onto Chapter Council chapter council the following dayduring elections, proving that our chapter nurtures leaders.  
In April, our incoming 2014-15 Chapter Council started spring term participating in a weekend of bonding and training at our annual Kappa Kabin hosted at Stephanie Bailey’s cabin in Peoria. That following weekend, Eta Kappa hosted information recruitment, “Spring into Kappa,” welcoming three additional sisters to the chapter. During the month of April, the Alpha Deuteron Chapter of Monmouth College hosted Eta Kappa for its Love & Loyalty Tea. At the end of April, Eta Kappa participated in the Knox campus’s annual Greek Week titled, “Greek TV” which they competed against other Greek-letter organizations in fun bonding activities. Along, with Greek Week, the standards committee surprised the chapter with a secret standards field trip hosted at Lake Storey were sisters cooked hamburgers, played games, and enjoyed the lake. During the month of May, Eta Kappa hosted its annual Formal event hosted at Cherry St. restaurant. Also in May Eta Kappa held its annual Academic Excellence banquet in the Common Room located the academic building Old Main. Towards the end of spring term, Eta Kappa initiated 3 new members, and said goodbye to 9 strong and capable graduating seniors.
