This year, Gamma Epsilon had many philanthropic accomplishments. At this years dog days fundraiser, we were able to raise a record breaking amount for our chapter of approximately $600.
  
The year has brought many fabulous events for Gamma Epsilon and they are as follows by each month:

We also had almost every sister make a dish or a treat to donate to our lunch-box auction, at which

we were able to raise close to $400 for Reading is Fundamental. Not only did we have great success

through our philanthropy events, we also raised and donated money to Sigma Chi's Derby Day philanthropy event, which raises funds for research at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, and we came in second place for the event. Our chapter also partnered with the fraternity, Phi Delta Theta, for the 2016 Greek Sing competition where we placed third with our Cinderella themed performance.

We also chose to support Children's Miracle Network by participating in Pitt Dance Marathon and Greek Sing because it is the greek wide philanthropy. We pair up with the other sororities and fraternities on campus and collectively participate in events such as these in order to raise money as a community.

Our chapter has continued to hold its meetings in our on-campus, chapter-owned house. These occur once every Sunday at 8PM, with our chapter council meeting forty-five minutes prior to discuss weekly events and important news.
World Events: Celebrated St. Patrick’s Day and the beginning of warm weather FINALLY
 
Kappa Events: Greek Week, partnered with Pike for this year’s Lunchbox Auction and raised $828
