This convention has been numbered although it was never held. The last Wednesday in August had been set at the previous convention for the assembling of one in 1880, with Eta Chapter as hostess in Madison, Wisconsin. The hostess chapter postponed the date one week but notice failed to reach all delegates, five of whom, at least, came at the appointed time only to find the hostess chapter scattered.
