→Highlights of 2015
Our chapter holds meetings in our chapter room which is located in our house on campus, rented from the university. Our chapter’s housing is located in our house in the Greek Quad on Carnegie Mellon’s campus. The house is rented from the university and can house 30 Kappa sisters.
==Highlights of 2016==
-Greek Sing with Delta Tau Delta: Beauty and the Beast and we had the Pasta, Pasta, Sauca event
to raise money for the Greek Sing philanthropy, Our Clubhouse
-Sapphire Ball at the aquarium, Spring Crush Party at shady grove, Fall Mystery Date at Dave and
Busters
-Highest Participation in SAE’s donut dash of any sorority
-1st place and philanthropy award Sigma Chi Derby Days
-Donated money to buy over 400 books for Reading is Fundamental in the fall and spring with
both the Kappa Kappa Grill Em and Bake Sale events
CMU’s campus is growing quickly and so is the greek community.
-Two of our sisters, Sarah Deluty and Linda Chen, attended the 2016 Kappa Convention together
thanks to our House Board
-We redecorated the chapter house living room to promote community, sisterhood, and academic
excellence
-We won most improved academic excellence at convention and best academic initiative at CMU
greek awards.
CMU’s campus is growing quickly and so is the greek community
Our philanthropy is RIF.
